These Terms of Service explain how NanoClean Services provides cleaning services and what customers can expect when booking with us.

About our services

NanoClean Services provides residential and commercial cleaning services in:

  • Winnipeg, Manitoba
  • Calgary, Alberta

Our services include:

  • Carpet Cleaning
  • Upholstery Cleaning
  • Mattress Cleaning

Service availability may depend on your location, property type, job size, and scheduling.

Quotes and bookings

Quotes are based on the information you provide, such as the type of service, room or item count, condition, size, and location. If the job details are different when we arrive, we may update the quote before starting work. Any changes will be clearly communicated and must be approved by the customer before we proceed.

A booking is confirmed when NanoClean Services agrees to the appointment date, time, service details, and price.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, or if we cannot access the property at the appointment time, a cancellation or service call fee may apply. We understand that unexpected things happen, and we will do our best to be fair.

Customer responsibilities and property access

To help us provide safe and efficient service, customers are asked to:

  • Provide clear access to the home, office, or service area.
  • Provide adequate parking or a designated loading zone for our service vehicles. Any parking fees or permits required must be arranged or covered by the customer.
  • Make sure water, electricity, and proper climate control (heating/cooling) are available.
  • Secure pets before our team arrives.
  • Move fragile, valuable, delicate, or heavy items from the work area before the technician arrives.
  • Tell us about any special surfaces, pre-existing stains, hidden damage, or materials requiring special care before service begins.

NanoClean Services is not responsible for items that were not moved or secured before cleaning.

Post-cleaning care and drying time

After carpet or upholstery cleaning, items will remain damp for a period of time. It is the customer's responsibility to maintain proper ventilation, keep air flowing, and keep pets and children off the damp areas until completely dry. NanoClean Services is not liable for any slip-and-fall accidents, colour bleeding from furniture legs, or mould growth caused by improper drying conditions after we leave the premises.

Service guarantee

We want you to be happy with our work. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of the completed service. If the concern is related to the cleaning we provided, we may offer a reasonable re-clean of the affected area at no extra charge.

Some stains, odours, wear, discolouration, or damage may not be fully removable due to the nature of the material or previous permanent damage. We will always do our best, but we cannot guarantee perfect results or 100% stain removal in every situation.

Pre-existing damage and limits of responsibility

NanoClean Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, loose seams, colour fading, weak fabric, shrinkage, water damage, old stains, odours, or other issues that existed before our service. We are also not responsible for damage caused by incorrect information provided by the customer, unsafe conditions, hidden defects, or items that should have been moved before cleaning.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NANOCLEAN SERVICES' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE CONNECTED TO THE CONCERN. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Pricing and payment

All prices quoted are subject to applicable Canadian taxes (GST and PST where applicable) and will be added to the final invoice.

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service, unless another arrangement has been formally agreed to in advance. Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, e-transfer, cash, or cheque, as confirmed at booking. Late or unpaid invoices may result in reasonable follow-up steps, including additional administrative charges or collection efforts where necessary.

Right to refuse service

NanoClean Services may refuse or stop service if:

  • The area is unsafe, hazardous, or unsanitary.
  • We cannot access the property or secure parking.
  • Pets are not secured.
  • The requested work is outside our professional scope.
  • A customer or other person behaves in an abusive, threatening, or inappropriate way.

If service is refused or stopped due to the reasons above, a reasonable fee may still apply for time, travel, or work already completed.

Force Majeure

NanoClean Services is not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, illness, accidents, traffic disruptions, or equipment failure.

Consumer protection

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation in your province, including the Consumer Protection Act of Manitoba or the Fair Trading Act of Alberta.

Resolving concerns

If you have a concern about our services, please contact us first at info@nanoclean.ca. We will do our best to resolve any issue directly and fairly before any formal steps are taken.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining sections will continue to apply in full force.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba or Alberta, depending on where the service is provided (either Manitoba or Alberta) and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
